This is the website for the Kings Lifeguard of Foot Regiment in the Sealed Knot Society that aims to bring the English Civil War to life through re-enactment of battles in the war and life beyond the battlefield.
Why do we do it?
There are many reasons why our members have joined and remained in the regiment, from those that are passionate about the time period who just love being on the battlefield.
Brief History of the regiment
The King’s Lifeguard of Foot was officially formed in August of 1642 and fought in many battles across the civil war including Edgehill, Cropredy Bridge before being captured at the Battle of Naseby in June 1645.
